THESPO - July 2016

                 9:30 A.M. THESPO, The youth theatre movement from Mumbai came to Rajasthan, Jaipur to conduct an acting and direction workshop for around 50 future theatre artists. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Abhishekh Agogosaha and Miss Shristi Ray, officially appointed teachers for The Thespo workshop. It started with an introduction of the participants along with the teachers.

The workshop started with connection and confidence building activities like zip-zap, passing the parcel etc. All these activities were special theatre activities planned to make the body active and mind alert along with the connection to all the new faces present.

After a short break, the group started with a activity called “zen partner “which was an activity to connect with each other and develop emotional skills, it was a task done with partners. This activity was followed by, some voice activity and tongue twisters like “ the tip of the tough, the teeth and the lip” were done. By the end of the session a small interaction about various languages and Thespo was done. It involved answering questions of the participants about Thespo and a chat corner for Thespo and its pattern of working was performed.

The bunch of people returned home as a team at 5 in the evening, with just not knowledge of Thespo but also with the memories of learning.
