Theatrical Society in association with COSD Theatre Studies organized a talk show on June 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM on Zoom.  Mr. Saurabh Sharma, TV and Bollywood Actor, Mumbai interacted with the students on the topic ‘The Preperation of an actor – An Actor Prepares’.Life is like a play: it’s not the length but the excellence of the acting that matters. As rightly said, quality matters. Especially in life, the satisfaction is measured by the richness of the emotions we feel and experiences we have instead of how long we live. Speaking of which, how many times we have gone on a rollercoaster ride while watching a movie or a play, how many times we have looked upon artists acting their heart out as a source of comfort or feeling alive….we can’t count! So we all know how acting makes our lives richer. To delve deeper into ‘acting’, Saurabh Sharma – Film actor who is known for movies Is She Raju (2019) and Patiala Babes (2018) was invited as a guest to an interactive session “An Actor Prepares” organized by IISU Theatrical Society which took place on Zoom platform. The session dealt with topics such as how to prepare as an actor, importance of relating to your role and using life experiences as the source for feeling emotions that any part may require. Students who aspire to be actors or are interested in the respective field gained great insights from the session.Number of participants was 24.
