2001 : Dramatics paved path into the regular cultural offerings at ICG
 ~ Fresher's Party
 ~ Intercollege Nukkad Natak competiotion (on Population) held at Kanodia
under the aegis of NSS
 ~ Thank you party
 ~ Addition to the 2nd Saturday guild Activities, the "Dramatics Guild"
 ~ "Seasons", a full-length play was the 1st initiative by the group to
Script, Direct, Coordinate, Music, Dance, Stage everything as a team of
young amatuer artists. The effort by the group was highly appreciated and
the Dramatics was officially included in the Annual Function Cultural
Program. The 7minutes presentation by the group was applauded by one and
all in the audience. Hence was laid the foudation of ITS (ICG Theatrical
Society).

2002 : Along with the regular college level cultural programs & all
intercollege drama competitions ITS held its 1st 45 Day Production oriented
Theatre Workshop.

Here below are the Full-length plays produced in 45-30 day drama workshops
annually under ITS :-

2002 : Ucchakkon Ka Chorus
2003 : Khabsoorat Bahu
2004 : Ramleela
2005 : Sharmishtha Devi Hostel

Each workshop was particiated in by 50-60 students and every single child
got an opportunity to potray a character. With every subsequent Annual Play
ITS gained popularity far and wide.

2003 : Dramatics was represented at Student Council Level. Dramatics
had a President & a Vice President among the Office Bearers.

In 2011 a group of 6 students started to revive the society in the form of Nukkad Natak. They performed their first ever nukkad natak  in the IIS auditorium for Independence day a poem by Ashok Chakradhar “Tamasha”. They performed the same in Kanoria in the inter-college event, and also for 26th January. 

But as the old age saying goes practice makes perfect as in 2012 the team won numerous positions many of them first in colleges like Kanoria, Xavier, BIT, MNIT and also secured third in LNMIIT. They performed many plays regarding world water day, literacy day in basti as a part of NSS. They have since performed many plays and won many laurels the recent being bagging the 6th position in IIT Delhi out of which 63 colleges were participating. Of the plays performed individual participants have also been singled out for their performance such as Megha Choudhary won the performer of the day at MNIT and Hiteshi Bhatia won the runners up at the same. Hiteshi Bhatia also bagged 2nd Position in Rendezvous- IIT Delhi’s On-the-spot Photography Competition.

In 2012 another milestone was achieved by the theatrical society when after a hiatus of 6 years the society put up its annual play “The Little Angel”. It was performed three times out of which the last was performed in Jawar Kala Kendra and had its chief guest as Niranjan Goswami a renowned mime artist.
