Preparation for the War

Date : 6th September, 2017                Venue : Kamla Nehru Nagar

As the practice of the Annual Play, 2017 is progressing, training and learning of new skills is added to the skill set of participants every day. This time new companions Razia ,Angel ,Jacqline and specially Chota Chetak made the journey full of joy ,fun and learning.

Wondering who are they? Are they new students added to the group or they are the names of characters of this year’s play. Well no 1They are the most Epic historical riders and the most loved animal Horse.Today the members of The IISU THEATERICAL SOCIETY went to HORSE RIDING SCHOOL for learning this new skill.

Yes the bright morning was well spent with these new friends. Riding horse certainly seems to set us apart as a distant group. The school had 60 horses all English Breed. We were given maximum 4 horses along with their trained personnel’s. In groups of 4, each student was given 10 minutes ride accompanied by knowledgeable and hardworking trainers. Horse ridding has the power to take the riders away from everyday life and worries, yet at the same time keeps the riders grounded in the present. Trainers gave students useful information about horses, their breeds and their life expectancy.

Training in any field whether it’s in a company, school, sports or performing arts moulds the thinking and leads to quality performance of students. It is continuous and never ending in nature. This trip helped the students in preparing the team for play on large scale. Team structure and role allocation for coordination and communication are very effective tool for building a good team performance. Our day ended with yummy poha breakfast and the game MAFIA.
