The IISU Theatrical Society held its orientation for the students of the University, on 31 August, 2023 at 12:30 PM in Aditya Hall. All students and teachers were invited to attend the same, especially first year students for whom the entire program was organised in order to Orient them about the Activities, Enrolment & members of the IISU Theatrical Society. The team showcased a Skit “Sone kaAnda” based on the short story written by famous author oh Hindi Literature, MunshiPremchand. The skit gave an essential message based on honesty and trustworthiness. The students brilliantly displayed their acting, managing and scripting skills during the program. The Skit was followed by a Short presentation on the ‘Overview of the IISU Theatrical Society’ given by Dr. Aditi R. Khandelwal, Coordinator, IISU Theatrical Society, At the end of the presentation, the audience were introduced to the members and were later invited to ask any doubts or queries regarding the theatre society.

New students were filled with joy and happiness. The orientation motivated and gave students the knowledge that how Theatre gives confidence and builds the personality of an individual. Students were eager to know about the society and wanted to participate in upcoming events.  The students had an interactive session after the orientation and played games.
