Macbeth is a tragedy by William Shakespeare thought to have been first performed in 1606. It dramatizes the damaging physical and psychological effects of political ambition on those blinded by the desire for power. Performed by the members of IISU Theatrical Society back in 2016, the screening of the same was presented online through Zoom owing to the pandemic situation.

The students sure were lucky to enjoy a play this grand at the leisure of their homes. Performances so splendid that one wouldn’t believe the people behind those epic characters aren’t professional actors. The screening went well. The play was successful in reflecting power-driven mentality and how it can destroy lives. It taught students how to prevent these vices and practice humility.
