Summer Camp - 2017
The IIS University organized the third consecutive summer camp from the 15th of May to the 6th of June 2017 that culminated in a final astounding performance on 7th June. It was an informative and interesting month filled with various activities ranging from basketball and skating classes to dance, self – defense, drama and aerobics classes. The summer camp saw an overwhelming response from the students and acted as an initiative to incur in students, the importance of physical outdoor activities.
The special attention of the camp was the free craft classes organized by Pidilitte conducted by Ms. Raj and Rajendra who co – ordinated the workshop.
Wonderful displays of paintings and sculpture exhibits made by the hard – working students was put up for parents and the attendees of the final performance that was held on the 7th of June 2017 at the IIS School auditorium. More than 50 students of different age groups joined it and tried their hand in different arts like dance, drama, craft, sports etc.
The smooth sailing of the summer camp would not have been possible without the guidance, help and support of the indulging yet strict teachers and volunteers.
The schedule of the final programme consisted of –

Following was a power point presentation showcasing the efforts put in by the students over the course of the summer camp.The show moved forward with an enchanting dance performance, basketball students entertaining the audience with their special styles and techniques and the aerobics students took to the stage to brandish their moves with awe - inspiring agility and grace for the attendees.
The show stopper of the day was an astonishing play performed wonderfully, called ‘Kheer Vala Rajya’ based on the prominent Rajasthani writer Vijay Dan Detha’s story of the same name.
The summer camp would not have been possible without the judicious support and efforts of the Summer camp co-ordinators – Prof. Renu Shunglo, Dr. Aditi R. Khandelwal and Ms. Priyanka Verma, Dr. Neelam Sharma Mam of Aerobics, Mr. Balwant Singh of Basketball, Mr. Vicky Hiwale of Skating, Mr. Mohit Kumar Gautam of Self Defense

The summer camp turned out to be very successful and garnered a very positive response with most of the students eager to be a part of it next year as well.
